EPISODE 37 - The Sims 2 Challenges - Crazy Cat Lady

Crazy Cat Lady Challenge -

This is just a quick little Pets based challenge, somewhat like the Asylum Challenge in that you really can only control your target Sim and not the Cats.

In CAS make one Elder Sim and 6 Cats. (My game only allowed me the 6 cats). The cats can look however you want, however the personality/zodiac of the cats should either be rolled or just choose 6 different zodiacs. You can make the elder however you wish but again rolling for her aspirations and zodiac make for a more interesting challenge. When you move your cat family into a lot you will have one open family slot, you may either try for a kitten or adopt another stray via the Pet Adoption or befriending a visiting stray. You should have a total of 7 cats in the home as quickly as possible. If a cat dies or is taken by Animal Control you must get more cats as soon as possible by adopting them back, trying for kittens or adopting a visiting stray in order to maintain the total of 7 cats.

Some events will need to be tracked during play, like the peeing on the floor and destroyed funiture, while others will be totaled at the time of the Elders death,such as the job levels and skills learned. For these just pause the game to add up points for each cat as soon as the Elder dies. When your Sim is guided off to the Sim Hereafter Animal Control will come take the cats for adoption, nifty way to increase your adoption pool with some cats that aren't little monsters!

- create 1 Elder in CAS
- create 6 Cats in CAS
- move family into any size lot, empty or premade house.... No money cheats though!

Your goal is to try and keep all the cats happy, healthy and hopefully employed. There is some scoring ...

- 2 pts every time a cat pees in the house
- 2 pts for every piece of furniture destroyed
- 2 pts for every Cat Fight
- 2 pts every time a cat is demoted
- 5 pts every time a cat is fired
- 5 pts every time a cat runs away
- 2 pts for each time your Elder pees on the floor
- 2 pts for each time your Elder passes out on the floor
- 2 pts for each aspiration failure your Elder suffers
- 20 pts every time Animal Control takes away any cats (*cats at work when Animal Control comes will not be taken)

+ 5 pts for every Trained Pet Skill learned
+ 5 pts for every Cat that has a job at the time of the Elders Death
+ 10 pts for every Cat that is at the Top of their Career at the time of the Elders Death
+ 10 pts for every Cat that is a Best Pet Friend with your Elder at time of Elders Death
+ 20 pts for each kitten born in the home (hard because of the already full house)
+ 20 pts if your Elder is platinum when she dies

The Crazy Cat Lady Challenge

This is my attempt at a pretty new challenge called The Crazy Cat Lady Challenge written by a member of the TS2Challenges Yahoo Group. You can find the rules there.

Lookie what we have here. Looks like I'm putting the elder version of myself through even more hell. I rolled the die to determine everything for her and the cats. Miss Rachelle rolled Romance, ugh, and a Life Time Want of 20 loves, yeah, there's no time for that! The cats pretty much have very medium personalities. Not a genius in the bunch though. There is a theme to their names which isn't too hard but where some of the names came from is.

Rachelle had the highest relationship with Jewel so she set about getting the relationship high enough to get Jewel to try for a kitten. She finally did and Jewel tried for kittens with Tori who was supposed to be male. While they were busy trying. . .

Bad cats! Rachelle scolded each one and they never did it again.

She set about training each cat one by one. I thought that I'd just pick whichever still was on the top and it would stay the same all the time. I think I was wrong.

This cleanly man is Remus. He walked by one day and Rachelle is a romance sim, and they liked each other. This is their first date. Once it got to dream date he started cleaning. It was awesome! And what was Rachelle doing?

I think she needed it.

She was very appreciative. Afterall she couldn't afford a maid yet.

The trying for a kitten never worked, so much for every time Prima Guide. This is Frankie. He was the only cat she could afford that wasn't a kitten.

She loved him just the same.

I took awhile but she was eventually able to afford a trainer. She came about 4 times.

Rachelle found some time for leisure activities.

And Reemus was a cat lover too.

On one of their many dates they both rolled wants to get engaged and Rachelle didn't have a fear, so, why not? Unfortunately they will never marry since the house is full. That's what happens when you get romantically involved with a crazy cat lady Remus.

Fight!

I have no idea who started it, but I know who ended it. This wasthe only fight.

Strong man Grannis was the first to reach the top of his career.

Remus brought a piano which apparently attracts Pet Trainers as much as it does nannies.

Nope, just training McLachlan to play dead.

And 7! Yep, all 7 reached the top of their careers.

This is the last trick Tori had to learn and she did.

Jewel and Tina where watching Rachelle and Remus flirting. It was funny.

Yep, Pet Best Friends with them all. No special sunlasses either.

Then she was gone. I was rather sad.

Goodbye Racheele, at least she isn't the real Sim Me.

Yep, she was in the middle of a date with Remus.

Everyone was very sad.

Single Vampire Parent Challenge: Chapter 3

Me: Last time we left Raquel she had just given birth to triplets. I wonder how this will go?

Me: Welcome home Raquel. How are the triplets and everything else?
Raquel: Everything and everyone are very good.
Me: Very good? Seriously? Is that a stink cold I see?
Raquel: Well yes, but the sun is up. It's fine. I just need to get in the coffin, so just stop talking.

Me: Looks like there is been a birthday. Welcome to toddlerhood Victoria. Things are about to get really interesting.

Me: Ahh!!! Is celebrating Renee's birthday really a good time to be scaring everyone with that face.
Raquel: What? It's Halloween.

Raquel: Isn't she beautiful?
Me: Yes, very, but what about William?
Raquel: You'll see him, just wait.

Raquel: See here he is. I'm teaching him to walk.
Me: Yeah, ah, maybe we'll get a close-up later.

Renee: Purty ButtRfly.
Me: Very. Can someone get the toddler inside the house? Nanny? Anyone?

Me: Speaking of birthdays. Happy birthday, Samantha!
Julia: Yeah, it'll be great to have more help with the triplets. What I don't understand is why I can't potty train them and I have to wait under they soil themselves and them give them a bath?
Me: Your mom has to do all training. Sorry, that's how it works.

Raquel: Not too bad. They all learned all their skills. There were a few dirty diapers and a many baths but with Julia's help, it wasn't bad at all.
Me: humph. I think a lot of people are disappointed.

Me: looks like Julia is enjoying the twins being older.

Me: I was wondering where Samantha had wondered off to and where do I find her? In one of the coffins. Any time I can't find her, guess where she is? In the coffin.

Me: Wowzers that's a huge belly.
Raquel: Shh, I'm helping Renee with her homework.

Me: Baby time, again!!!

Me: Wait, why are you waving your hand in the air like you just don't care?
Julia: Dah it's twins.
Me: Wait did you eat cheesecake?
Raquel: Sure did.
Me: did you know you'd have twins because of it?
Raquel: sure did. Triplets were pretty easy, so twins should be a piece of cake.
Me: Wow. Welcome Kevin and Emily.

Me: He's very handsome.

Me: And some potty training.
Raquel: This is so piece of cake now.

Me: Looks like Samantha is enjoying being a teen.
Samantha: When I don't have to take care of my siblings, I sure do.
Me: It'll get easier really soon.

Me: Yep, the triplets are teens, already.

Raquel: 5 teens and 2 toddlers. I like that kind of math!

Raquel: Emily's trained.

Raquel: So is Kevin.

Me: I see the Count has been leaving more gifts.

Me: How time flies.

Me: no more toddlers.

Raquel: Blah, it wasn't too hard.

Me: What happened?

Julia: Yep, the cab is here, I'm going to college.
Me: which brings us to the end.

Single Vampire Parent Challenge: Chapter 2

Me: Welcome back to. . . wait!

Me: Now I bet you're wondering, "What the heck happened?" Well, I think it's time to bring in the CSI (Crime Scene Investigation) team. Welcome CSI Rachel.
CSI Rachel: Thank you. Now, let's see what happened here. I see there is a coffin on the front lawn.
Me: Yeah, that's so Raquel can get right in it when she gets home from work.
CSI Rachel: Well she obviously got out for some reason. It looks like the remains are ashes. I can conclude from that, that she was burnt up by the sun.
Me: Even I know that, she was a vampire after all.
CSI Rachel: I notice the ashes are right in front of the energizer. I conclude from this she was trying to save herself at the last moment.
Me: But why did she get out of her coffin?
CSI Rachel: And that brings me to final piece of evidence, the stereo.
Me: Oh no!!!
CSI Rachel: Yes, it is my professional opinion that the stereo was left on from last night. Raquel came home from work and tried to go to sleep in the coffin but she couldn't because of the stereo. It's obvious that whomever was in charge here didn't realize this was why she got out of the coffin the first time, so this happened twice. In a last ditch effort to save herself she stepped into the energizer but her needs were too low and she stepped out immediately and perished.
Me: Wow, I think you're right. But wait.
-Exits without saving, marks down the lose of 10 points and reenters the lot and moves the stereo inside the house-

Me: Much better. I see you're back this evening Count.
Count: Blah. Yes, I have a daughter, blah. I want to get to know her.
Me: Who knew the Count would make a good father.

Me: Great job Raquel! Uh, try not to bite any of your students.
Raquel: OK.

Me: Happy Birthday Julia! And now that you made it through the easy infant stage, let's see how your mom handles the toddler stage.

Raquel: Say Blah. Blah.
Julia: Bye.
Raquel: no, Blah.
Me: I think only Vampires can Blah.

Me: This is just too funny. Most of the Lost-aways dancing in the tiny stereo room.

Me: Wow, the Count brings sweet gifts!

Me: And he brings the festiveness for Julia's next birthday. Wow Raquel, you survived Julia's toddlerhood. How'd it go?
Raquel: Not so bad. Lots of smart milk and thinking caps. She learned all her toddler skills and got 8 charisma points.
Me: Hey great job.

Me: You're so beautiful Julia.
Julia: Gee thanks. Hey, why can't my mommy play outside during the day?
Me: Well you see the sun hurts her. You can play at night and she always makes sure to have lots of leftovers in the fridge for you.
Julia: OK.
-Here's the part where I didn't take a lot of pictures. I wasn't sure I was going to blog this so I missed a lot of the shots I usually take, sorry.-

Me: Baby #2 is here! So Raquel, what'd you have this time?
Raquel: Another girl, Samantha.

Me: Just thought I'd let you all see Raquel's last name. She was destined to be a vampire.

Raquel: Happy birthday baby Samantha!
Me: Time for the second trial with a toddler. Won't be quite as easy with a child in the house as well. Speaking of which. . .

Me: Time for Samantha to do her homework. Looks like 2 days worth. It's not as easy as we thought it was.

Me: Well I guess toddlerhood was pretty easy, cause look, Samantha is already a child.
Raquel: Yeah, it has been relatively easy so far.

Me: It looks like Samantha is making friends with Rachel Bachelor.
Samantha: yeah, she kept stopping by the house. She's a nice lady.

Me: Wow Julia, it's already time for you to become a teen?
Julia: Sure is.
Me: Happy Birthday.

Me: You sure are lovely Julia, but why are you purpley pink?
Julia: It's summer time and the house is so small. I spent too much time outside playing chess with that Rachel Bachelor, she's sun burnt as well.
Me: well you just drink some of that water and feel better.

Me: She looks better and hey she's getting a blind date.

Me: Looks like she's hitting it off with him.
Julia: Yeah, he's nice. And he's one of those Bon Voyage guys, so when he visits, he stays for 3 whole days.
Me: Cool and I think that will be helpful, very soon.
Julia: What do you mean?
Me: You'll see.

Raquel: Dang it Count! Stop biting my friends!
Me: Poor Charlie Lost.

Me: Yay baby #3!!!! See there's Destry, it's good that he's here, very good.
Raquel: He, he why?
Me: Just wait.

Me: Now I bet you're all wondering why there are 3 babies here? Well, because of a glitch. She had 3 single births, no twins. She had the first, Victoria, set her down, went into labor again, had Renee and finally had William. I thought that would make for a good challenge so they stayed. Luckily a vampire's needs won't decay during labor, cause it was daytime and no way she would have survived through 3 times of labor in a row.

I recently discovered the Single Vampire Parent Challenge and thought I'd give it a try. You can find the rules at the TS2Challenges Yahoo Group or here. Now let's meet the victim, I mean. . . oh who am I fooling, the victim.

Me: Hi There Raquel. Welcome to Veronaville.
Raquel: Hi. Hey how'd you know my name?
Me: I know all kinds of things about you. Like how you're sim me just blue. And you're a pleasure sim and you want to have 50 1st dates, which SO is not going to happen. You'll have to become a vampire and raise at least one baby all by yourself.
Raquel: *Giggles* Oh sorry what was that? I was busy trying to catch butterflies.
Me: Don't worry about it, you'll find out. Oh and enjoy the daylight while you can.
Raquel: What does that mean?
Me: You'll see.

Raquel: One date please.
Gypsy: Wow $5,000, you're serious!
(several guys drop from the sky one at a time and quickly dismissed. Finally. . . )

Me: Welcome Count.
Count: Blah! Thank you my lovely.
Me: oh no, not me. The blue chick over there, that's Raquel.

Me: How was your first date with the Count?
Raquel: Good. Fun! I don't know why he had to leave so soon.
Me: You'll understand soon enough.

Me: So I see you got a job in education.
Raquel: Sure did, I just love kids!
Me: That's very, very good news. And a good schedule for the future. You only work Monday - Friday and during the day.
Raquel: Why is that so important?
Me: All in good time, my dear, all in good time.

Me: So I see the Count is back.
Raquel: Sure is, we really hit it off.
Me: What's he doing to your friend there?
Raquel: Not sure really.

Me: Great job Raquel!

Me: Congrats Raquel! So, um I can't help but notice it's daylight and you're sorta smoking and not in the smokin' hot kind of way.
Raquel: Is that smell me?
Me: Why don't you hop in that coffin on the front lawn.
Raquel: That's sorta creepy.
Me: Well if you don't, you'll up a pile of ash. So move it chica!

Me: This can only mean one thing, the baby is on it's way! And thing are about to get interesting.
Raquel: That's two things.
Me: So sue me.

Raquel: Um hun, my friends don't like it when you bite them.
Me: I'm just happy I'm finished with my Lost Challenge.

Raquel: Ahhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Me: Baby time!!!!!!

Me: So nice that the Count is here.

Raquel: Meet my daughter, Julia.
Me: Welcome little one.

Me: Which brings us to the end of the first chapter. A little tid bit. Raquel me the Count the very first night (Monday) and he didn't bite her until Friday. Check back next time.

Hey ladies! Looks like Bell has learned to walk!
Ella: Yes she has! My little girl is really smart! I can't wait for her to go to college.
Um, yeah, she can't go to college.
Ella: What? Awe man, we can't do anything!
You can do some stuff, just not everything you want to. It's sort of the whole point of the challenge, sorry ladies. Your great grand daughter will be able to though.

Oh look Bell got a new hair do! It's very pretty.
Ella: Yeah, you told me she had to wear it up too, so this is what we went with.

Ella: Pancakes for my loving husband. He gets upset if breakfast isn't on the table in the morning when he gets up

Oh look, Timmy grew up. He has an interesting mix of both his parents.

Maybe not quite so tight Bell.

Ella, you look relax.
Ella: Yeah, Bell is asleep and I'm exhausted and smelly and uncomfortable.
I'm glad you're getting a little time to yourself.

Ella: This is our new kitten Talula. She'll be Timmy's "wife".
Can't wait for her to grow up.

Welcome once again to another Sims 2 Challenge. This one is called the Rights of Women Challenge. It explores the rights US society has given to women over the years, starting with generation 1 having the fewest rights.

If you've read my other blogs, you might recognize "Ella". Yeah that's sim me, all packaged up as a housewife from some time ago.

Hi there Rachel, I mean Ella.
Ella: Uh, hi, who are you? Wait who am I?
Ah yes that, your name is Ella Right. You're a happy housewife. As for me, well that's not important.
Ella: Nice kitty. Hum, what are you going to do with me? Wait you aren't that lady that puts people in a house with 7 toddlers are you?
Oh, that, you heard about that, *whistling innocently* that wasn't me. Let's get a move on.

Ella: So when do I get a hire a maid?

Well this is it. We will finally find out how Lost ends, well my challenge at least. Last time we lost our last woman so I guess we won't have any more babies, thank goodness.

Sayid nice job Sayid, I hope you can make it to the top of your career before this week is over.

Even without a woman at the lostaways camp little Walt still gets lots of attention. He is an overly needy baby.

Charlie is a valuable friend for Erin though. Poor girl needs someone to play with.

Thanks to Sayid's military training he was able to build a training course. Unfortunately he can't stay on it too long thanks to the heat.

Cool the orchard trees are baring fruit. Erin is such a big help with the gardening.

Players note, I ran into a time when all the adults where going to be at work so I decided to hire a nanny for when the last one (Charlie) was leaving and the first one home had her leave. Now technically nannies are service NPCs but really they are useless and I just couldn't let Erin be taken. On the show one of the extras would take care of her while the main characters were gone. Maybe I'll just call the Nanny Rose.

Summer is really rough for our Lostaways. It seems there are constantly having thunder storms.

They had their very first lightning strike.

Luckily Kate grabbed the Dharma fire extinguisher and put ti out before things got out of control.

Lost 1 - The Beginning

Flight 815 has crashed on an island. The survivors or the crash thought they were alone but they weren't. There are Others on this island. These Others want to kidnap and hurt them. Will anyone survive? Who will be rescued?

Let's meet our Lostaways:

Charlie, a one hit wonder with his band, Drive Shaft. A recovering heroine addict and a habitual liar.

Hurley, the happy go lucky lottery winner who's fate seems to linked to the numbers he used to win with. 4 8 15 16 23 42

Jack, a surgeon and reluctant leader.

Kate, the woman on the run from the law for killing her abusive father.

Locke, the man who worked at a box company and lost the use of his legs in a mysterious accident but woke up on the island with the ability to walk. He is obsessed with the magic of the island.

Sawyer, a conman who takes what isn't his without remorse. Through his cons he has enjoyed the company of many women, in an effort to acquire their wealth of course.

Sayid, former member of the Iraqi Republican Guard where he worked as an interrogator. He is wicked smart and get at fixing electronics.

And finally, Sun, a married woman from Korea who learned English from another man. She has a very powerful and influential father who hired her husband to deliver messages for him. In this incarnation Sun's husband Jin did not survive the plane crash.

Let's see how everyone is getting along on the island.

Lost Challenge Rules

The LOST Challenge

This challenge is based off the hit TV Show LOST on ABC. But you don't have to watch the show to enjoy playing it, you just might not understand why things are set up the way they are. You must own the Seasons Expansion Pack to play this challenge.

Set Up

Neighborhood: You are welcome to move the survivors of flight 815 into any existing neighborhood or sub-neighborhood so long as the seasons are set to Summer, Spring, Summer, Spring.

Create your 8 sims. They have to have the following aspirations and work in the following careers. The signs are suggestions and can be tweaked if you watch the show and want to adjust them slightly, I know I did. You can create them to look like the characters on the show or have them look however you'd like.

Kate – Romance - Adventurer - Taurus
Jack - Knowledge - Medical - Aries
Sawyer - Fortune - Criminal - Taurus
Locke - Knowledge - Adventurer - Aries
Hurley - Pleasure - Culinary - Cancer
Sun - Knowledge - Education - Pisces
Charlie - Popularity - Music - Aquarius
Sayid - Knowledge - Military - Pisces

Create a 4 x 4 lot. The lot must have a sizable pond, a sandy area, and a grassy area. They can also have a small pool for swimming (must be created at beginning of challenge if you're going to have one, only use pool ladders, no diving board or slide), but surround it with palm trees so it isn't easily visible. You can create your lot and then move them in or move them onto a lot and them adjust it by adding the pond and before mentioned areas. More palm trees and tropical plants may be added at any time. You may not do any structural building on the lot or purchase any items before the challenge starts. When you have completed your lot set up your survivors must be left $1,500 or less. Once you have gotten money down to that amount, purchase the cheap base game fridge. You will only get 3 group meals out of the fridge after which point you will need to empty the fridge by pulling meals, canceling the cooking action and throwing away the food (no composting). Figure Pollo and Nikki got in there and messed it all up. The 3 group meals may be put away as leftovers. Fish and produce can also be stored in the fridge.

Items: Living on a desert island they are very restricted on the items they have access to. Luckily they discovered the hatch and were able to find many of it's items after it exploded. The following is a list of items you are allowed to purchase throughout the challenge, figure that's when they found the item in the jungle. With the exception of the fridge the items can be bought at any time during the challenge however you may not buy items and sell them back for cash. Paintings, toys, flower arrangements and produce may be sold in the buy mode for cash at any time.

1 Piece of workout equipment – Any single piece except the sphere

You may buy as many garden plots & orchard trees as you want at anytime

Game Play:

Move your 8 survivors onto the 4x4 lot. The Welcome Wagon will come, these are the extras on the show. Feel free to socialize with them and any other passers by.
You may not look at their wants and fears panels at any point during the challenge, so minimize it, the aspirations level (colors) will still be visible. You may view the needs meters all the time.
When the newspaper arrives everyone must look for their assigned job (see above). Yes they may not have jobs, per say, but they certainly have jobs on the island so we will have to pretend they are doing those jobs. If their job does not appear they must check everyday until they get it.
Once acquiring their job they must go to every shift, no staying home from work.
Everyone is expected to help out with fishing & gardening. The food in the fridge (3 group meals worth see above) is the only Dharma drop they will get. After that they must live off the land.
You may build small sleeping shelters and a bathroom as they acquire the money to do so, but remember to keep them simple. Sawyer should have the largest shelter but it can be taken over if he is taken by the Others.
All aspiration rewards are allowed however they may only be used by the sim they belong to. So if you pull a thinking cap from Sayid, he is the only one that can use it. Think strategically about this, see below.
You may not hire any services ie maid, repairman
You may not move anyone into the lot except the rescue below.
No cheats or hacks are allowed except to fix a glitch.
The phone may only be used to talk to someone for promotions, you may not invite anyone over. Passers by may be greeted.
You may not intentionally kill anyone.
If anyone should die, congratulations you now have "the voices" and the tombstone must remain on the lot for the remainder of the challenge.
The survivors may not leave the lot except to go to work.
On-lot dates are allowed with other survivors or passersby. You may not call the gypsy for a date.

The Others:

The others are after our survivors and they come for one of them every Tuesday, Friday & Sunday at 6 AM. If someone died since the last visit from the Others, no one will be taken that day.
At 6AM check everyone's Aspiration Points. Whoever has the least must move out as they have been taken by the Others.
Those sims taken by the others must remain in the sims bin so you may not call them on the phone to talk.
Every Monday whoever has the most Aspiration Points at 6AM may Rescue the sim that has been taken that has the highest relationship with that sim. They will move back into the house and $20,000 they bring with must be used to purchase more plant life or wasted if your computer can't handle the plants.

How it Ends

The challenge ends when there is just one sim left in the house. He or she is rescued off the island and goes back to their off island life. It should take 3 sim weeks.

Scoring - While scoring isn't mandatory just remember these are the goals of the challenge.
Once you have completed the challenge move everyone still living back onto the lot for scoring purposes.

+1 point for every 10,000 aspiration points - Add up everyone's final aspiration points. This is at the end of the challenge, character must be alive.
+1 point for every Bronze Badge obtained by survivors in each category (May not be collected if higher badge is obtained in that category)
+2 points for every Silver Badge obtained by survivors in each category (May not be collected if higher badge is obtained in that category)
+5 points for every Gold Badge obtained by survivors in each category
+2 points for every Skill Maxed by survivors
+5 points for buying every item on the items list (only one candle needs to be purchased to count)
+7 points for every Top of Career obtained (max 1 per sim includes those who have died)
+10 points for every Lifetime Want Achieved (unlimited, includes those who have died)
+20 The Desmond Bonus - Every time someone saves someone else from death (includes visitors)
-50 Each Lost Cast Member Death
-10 Each visitors death (they're extras we don't care as much about them)

Looks like it time for the last group date. Brent tried to splash Jenn and she got pissed! looks like everyone needs to use the bathroom and go to bed.
Wait, why'd my buy and build mode just disappear?

Holy crap Brent just spontaneously combusted!!!! Why did you have to wait until you left the hot tub room?!?! I put sprinklers in there!!!

Well so ends my attempt at the Bachelor Challenge. Brent's death was a complete accident. He got out of the hot tub just as he got up to very hot which he's done every time before. I put sprinklers in the hot tub room for just this reason. Sigh at least it made for a good ending.

We're back once again for another day with the bachelor and his bachelorettes. It's time for another group date in the hot tub.

Oh looks whose come back to say hi. It's sim me who just left to move in with our other bachelorettes.

OK Wen and Ruby decide to play Rock, Paper, Scissors. hum interesting move. I suppose though it's good to have a good relationship with the other contestants.

Shaunna and Lynn decide to check out the house, claim a bed I guess.

And Jenn and Vilma are talking. Hum looks like Vilma isn't liking what Jenn has to say. Look at that body language. (side note I don't know why Vilma's clothes changed once I was in the game, sorry)

All right Lynn. Well we're going to get started. Below you can find the rules for this challenge and we'll get back to these folks in the next entry.

The Bachelor/Bachelorette Challenge otherwise known as "Find a Love for Lonely Sim".

(Based on our American TV Reality Show "The Bachelor/Bachelorette".

1. Create your Bachelor/Bachelorette. Then add seven other sims of the opposite sex for your lonely Sim, or if you're feeling adventurous you could make it a gay thing, but then you might forget who your lonely Sim is because they all look alike after a while.

2. Motherlode your Sims $200,000 if you have a house, and $300,000 if you have to build one from scratch. Furnish your Sims' house. Make sure you have two hot tubs, and 5 chess tables. A Buffet table helps, a big screen TV, at least 3 toilets and 3 showers. Make sure you put your hot tubs on the second floor. Put your single Sims in an area that is apart from your lonely Sim.

3. THE STIPULATIONS/RULES....

---You cannot make your lonely or single Sims flirt, talk, entertain, kiss, make out woohoo, or any social interactions whatsoever with each other unless specified in one of the daily challenges or "dates". They must make friends naturally by just 'hanging out' together.

---Every day at 12:00 pm you will put your game on pause and check to see who your lonely Sim is interested in most by adding both friendship scores together, top and bottom. The single Sim who has the lowest score, is the least compatable and must move out of the house. If by chance there is a tie, check your single Sims' score and whoever likes lonely Sim best stays in the house. You do this over 7 days and your lonely Sim will hopefully not be lonely anymore.

---You win the game if your lonely sim and a single sim will Woo Hoo on the last day. You can move them out and they keep all the money. If not, they go on their merry way alone.

**Just added-Here are a couple more tips/suggestions. You may want to put in a bar. Since almost every time the "crowd" enters a lot on a "What's this" for something stupid. First it was a bookcase, then it was a pillar way in the back of the lot. A champange bottle or bar seems to let them congregate at the same place. Also, the hot tub is about 3 Sim hours. Until they all get hungry, then open the buffet. They'll get out fast enough.

DAY BY DAY:

Day 1... Meet and Greet. Let your sims do what they want, and talk to who they want.

Day 2...At 12 noon, the first single sim must move out. (This is the Sim with the lowest score on Lonely Sim's compatability bar. Add the top and bottom numbers together and the Sim who is least liked by Lonely Sim moves out. Now you have 6 single Sims and your Lonely Sim.

...Group Dates in the hot tub. Put Lonely Sim in a hot tub. (Randomly click on your single Sims as quickly as possible and direct them to go into the hot tub with Lonely Sim. Let them fight for the stairs. The first three sims who get there first can have their group date with your lonely Sim) Put the other 3 Sims in the other hot tub.

...After hot tubbing, it's time for the 1 on 1 dates. Have Lonely Sim do 1 single "chat" with each single Sim.

Day 3...Before 12:00, have Lonely Sim do 1 flirt with each of your single sims.

...12:00 pm Move out time. Check your scores and lowest moves out. Now you are down to 5 single Sims and your lonely Sim.

...Group Dates in the hot tub as before.

...1 on 1 dates have each of your single sims sit at a chess table and have Lonely Sim join each of them for a Sim half hour to an hour each. (You need to gauge this yourself, as some Sims tire out more than others and you need to get 5 chess sessions in that day.)

Day 4...Before 12 noon, have Lonely Sim do 2 flirts with each of your single sims.

...12:00 Move out time. Check the scores. Now you have 4 single Sims.

...Group Date in the hot tub. 1 Sim will be left out.

...1 on 1 dates have Lonely Sim do 1 "share interests" with each of your single sims.

Day 5...Before 12:00, have Lonely Sim do 3 flirts with each of your 4 remaining single sims.

...12 noon-Move out time.

...Group Date in the Hot tub. Since you now have 3 single Sims remaining, all get to share the tub with Lonely Sim.

...1 on 1 date- Have your lonely Sim do 1 kiss "romantic" with each of your single sims.

Day 6...Before 12:00, have your lonley sim do 3 flirts with each of your single sims.

...12:00 Move out time. Now you are down to 2 single Sims.

...Last Group Date in Hot Tub

...1 on 1 date- Have Lonely Sim do 1 "make out" with your two remaining single sims.

Day 7...Before 12:00, have Lonely Sim do 3 flirts with both of your remaining sims.

...12:00 move out time.

....Champagne Ceremony (Break out the champage and toast each other, better yet, see who toasts who.

....At last! Woo Hoo with the last Sim and hopfully your 2 Sims will no longer be single and lonely.

BE HEEDFUL.....This is not all together easy... Make sure when flirting that your other Sims are preoccupied with something else or there could be trouble in paradise. Another tip. Try and have your Sims eat their meals together. Open your buffet table and they will more than likely sit down and eat together. (Don't use a stove and fridge as they will all spend their time in the kitchen cooking single meals.) This gives the Sims more time to gain friendship so there may be bonds between your Singles and you can move them in together later as roommates and add them to your neighborhood.
